It was a penalty for Brufoss IL! 21 minutes into the match, Anselmo Esdras notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Brufoss IL's Philip Molland. Philip Molland was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Nicasio Mendebal struck a weak shot in the 23rd minute. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Narciso Jerrald successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ludvig Lunden stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Anselmo Esdras scored 2-2 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Philip Molland, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A collision led to RIVER getting a freekick after 58 minutes play. Florentino Endira hit a great ball. RIVER's Cristian Jerardo was substituted for Eleuterio Milio. The supporters of Brufoss IL booed when RIVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Florentino Endira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Higinio Nofre fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Philip Molland, passed just outside the right post. Anselmo Esdras received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Philip Molland came out and tried to block the shot, but Anselmo Esdras slotted it home off the left post making it 2-3 in the 78th minute. Brufoss IL made a substitution. Odin Huse replaced Ludvig Lunden. In the 83rd minute Eskil Almaas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Jerrald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Brufoss IL fans' excitement grew in the 83rd match minute when Brufoss IL's Eskil Almaas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal.
