In the 22nd minute, Edelmiro Ticho sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and RIVER's Narciso Jerrald didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, RIVER's Eleuterio Milio got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Nicasio Mendebal came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Jacinto Nuxila could save by the left post. A collision led to RIVER getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Florentino Endira hit a great ball. A hard shot 30 in the game by Nicasio Mendebal from a close distance when the talented Jacinto Nuxila managed to make a qualified save. Almeyra F.C.'s players were relieved. Jacinto Nuxila made a fantastic save in the 31st minute, when Nicasio Mendebal sent off a good shot on target. Nicasio Mendebal succeeded in the game's 33rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. Almeyra F.C.'s Jacinto Nuxila played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Esdras in the 36th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Jacinto Nuxila had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Florentino Endira. In the 40th minute Edelmiro Ticho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Narciso Jerrald saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute of the match, Higinio Nofre got a very nice opportunity to score, but Jacinto Nuxila was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Narciso Jerrald made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edelmiro Ticho in the 43rd minute of play. Jacinto Nuxila showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Florentino Endira, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Almeyra F.C.'s Jacinto Nuxila proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to save Almeyra F.C. from getting a goal against them.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Florentino Endira during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. RIVER's Gerardo Ixaka was substituted for Cecilio Rencio. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Higinio Nofre in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacinto Nuxila saved Almeyra F.C. from getting behind. After 60 minutes of play, RIVER's Higinio Nofre made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jacinto Nuxila was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the Almeyra F.C. defense, Higinio Nofre kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jacinto Nuxila. The Almeyra F.C. fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jacinto Nuxila should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Almeyra F.C. booed when RIVER was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorato Astigar didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Higinio Nofre in the 70th minute of play forced Almeyra F.C.'s goalkeeper Jacinto Nuxila to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 72nd minute Higinio Nofre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Nuxila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 76 minutes into the match, Almeyra F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Higinio Nofre came free, but Jacinto Nuxila reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 80th minute Nicasio Mendebal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacinto Nuxila saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Higinio Nofre received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Jacinto Nuxila tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Higinio Nofre cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Jacinto Nuxila was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th minute, Nicasio Mendebal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The RIVER fans cheered their team off the field, for while Almeyra F.C. had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
