In the 3rd minute of the match, Artemio Vigil tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Walter Jönsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Walter Jönsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Librado, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Johan Löfskog took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bernardo Inautzi. Bernardo Inautzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 14th minute, Per-Olof Wallman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnaldo Librado's late challenge caught a Ralles Bollklubb's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Arnaldo Librado helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Consejo del Mate getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Arnaldo Librado hit a great ball. Arnaldo Librado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walter Jönsson made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Artemio Vigil sent off a good shot on target. In the 27th minute of the match, Arnaldo Librado tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Walter Jönsson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 35th minute Artemio Vigil shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Walter Jönsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aaron Lindström hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the match, Consejo del Mate's Gilberto Unai broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artemio Vigil to make the kick off. Johan Löfskog sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Walter Jönsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Vigil, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gonzalo Perico recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Walter Jönsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emiliano Abreu in the 64th minute of play. In the 73rd minute Johan Löfskog shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernardo Inautzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute, Artemio Vigil made a precise shot to the right of Walter Jönsson. Ralles Bollklubb's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. A collision led to Consejo del Mate getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Emiliano Abreu hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Consejo del Mate's Artemio Vigil got a free kick in the 92nd minute. After 93 played minutes, Ralles Bollklubb's Martin Knutsson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Bernardo Inautzi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Ralles Bollklubb reached it. When the referee ended the match the Consejo del Mate players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
