Walter Jönsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dasep Latul in the 3rd minute of play. If Dasep Latul had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Syamsul Rinaldi in the 9th minute of play forced Ralles Bollklubb's goalkeeper Walter Jönsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Pål Hult fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ralles Bollklubb's protests and gave Pål Hult a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ralles Bollklubb getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Pål Hult hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the game, Durian FC's Syamsul Rinaldi nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Walter Jönsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 30 minutes into the match, Durian FC's goalkeeper Ardha Handoyo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Björn Jonasson. In the 33rd minute, Björn Jonasson made a precise shot to the right of Ardha Handoyo. Durian FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 36th minute, Dasep Latul left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Durian FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Walter Jönsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Syamsul Rinaldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dasep Latul stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Dasep Latul fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walter Jönsson having to interfere. Romi Waskito charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The Durian FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Durian FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
