In the 3rd minute Arnaldo Librado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halil Pekinturk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 4 minutes into the game, Consejo del Mate's Arnaldo Librado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Halil Pekinturk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. In the 9th match minute, Consejo del Mate was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcos Betadur to maneuver through the defense. In the 15th minute Arnaldo Librado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Halil Pekinturk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Halil Pekinturk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Librado, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Hüseyin Rahmi Dölek hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Hugo Ceandro took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 21st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Halil Pekinturk. 1903 Barranspor ☪'s goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Halil Pekinturk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnaldo Librado in the 26th minute of the match. Yavuz Selimhan Yaren did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Bernardo Inautzi 31 minutes into the match. Emiliano Abreu scored 1-2 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Halil Pekinturk, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.

In the 54th minute, 1903 Barranspor ☪'s Azmi Vedat seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Azmi Vedat the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of 1903 Barranspor ☪ protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Azmi Vedat had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The supporters of Consejo del Mate booed when 1903 Barranspor ☪ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Azmi Vedat didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hugo Ceandro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 55th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 65 played minutes Consejo del Mate got a freekick which was hit by Hugo Ceandro. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnaldo Librado in the 67th minute of play forced 1903 Barranspor ☪'s goalkeeper Halil Pekinturk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Consejo del Mate's Emiliano Abreu got a free kick in the 71st minute. Halil Pekinturk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emiliano Abreu in the 73rd minute of the match. 76 minutes into the game, Arnaldo Librado recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Halil Pekinturk. Arnaldo Librado showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Halil Pekinturk made a fantastic save in the 82nd minute, when Horacio Peruxu sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of 1903 Barranspor ☪ booed when Consejo del Mate was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. Horacio Peruxu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hugo Ceandro in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Halil Pekinturk prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Halil Pekinturk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Arnaldo Librado's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. If Emiliano Abreu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
