The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Manchester United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Isaac Morgan to maneuver through the defense. Henri Villem recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 6 minutes into the match, Ronnie Howard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lennart Merioja. Kogimyae JK's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ronnie Howard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Lennart Merioja took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronnie Howard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 13th match minute, Manchester United F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Garth Hume to maneuver through the defense. In the 18th minute, Sam Fenwick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Kogimyae JK defense, Steve Pennant kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lennart Merioja. The Kogimyae JK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lennart Merioja should have stopped the shot. When Henri Villem came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Kogimyae JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henri Villem couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Henri Villem's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Martyn Patten was relentless in the 28th minute of the game. Manchester United F.C.'s Sam Fenwick got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 40 minutes, Joonas Nõmmiste mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kogimyae JK and the Manchester United F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Joonas Nõmmiste kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 42 minutes into the game, Tim Butt cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Lennart Merioja was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ronnie Howard made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Henri Villem in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Martyn Patten saved Manchester United F.C. from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Isaac Morgan during the 57th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Manchester United F.C. getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Isaac Morgan hit a great ball. Martyn Patten showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Henri Villem in the 58th minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Manchester United F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Henri Villem came free, but Martyn Patten reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 74 minutes, Sam Fenwick mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manchester United F.C. and the Kogimyae JK players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sam Fenwick hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. In the 79th minute Joonas Nõmmiste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martyn Patten saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Henri Villem came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Kogimyae JK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Henri Villem couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute, Ronald Kask hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Manchester United F.C.'s Isaac Morgan got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Manchester United F.C. had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
