Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Dan Godeanu kicked off to start the match. In the 11th minute Republica Ploiești were awarded a corner. Costel Lepuș went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Costel Lepuș got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Boleslaw Majewski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 15 minutes into the match, UNITED GWAREK's Zygmunt Bubczyk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pompiliu Hâncu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 17 minutes into the match, Ioan Brânza dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Boleslaw Majewski, 1-0. In the 22nd minute, Lucian Luțu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Republica Ploiești fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Dan Godeanu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 26thth minute tested the skills of Boleslaw Majewski when he managed to save the team from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zygmunt Bubczyk in the 28th minute of play forced Republica Ploiești's goalkeeper Pompiliu Hâncu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 31 minutes into the match, Marcin Jaworski notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Republica Ploiești's Pompiliu Hâncu. Pompiliu Hâncu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pompiliu Hâncu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zygmunt Bubczyk, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. 44 minutes into the game, Ioan Brânza threw the ball into play from the sideline. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zygmunt Bubczyk made a kick off. Pompiliu Hâncu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stasio Jajecznica, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lucian Luțu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pompiliu Hâncu made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Marcin Jaworski sent off a good shot on target. In the 75th minute, Marcin Jaworski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ioan Brânza fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Boleslaw Majewski having to interfere. Boleslaw Majewski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucian Luțu in the 82nd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Republica Ploiești got a freekick which was hit by Costel Lepuș. Zygmunt Bubczyk received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Pompiliu Hâncu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 88 minutes into the match, Zygmunt Bubczyk notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Republica Ploiești's Pompiliu Hâncu. Pompiliu Hâncu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Costel Lepuș kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Leszek Witwicki during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
