Tulio Barbosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boleslaw Majewski having to make a save. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zygmunt Bubczyk was the one to do the kick off. When Zbyszko Wielgopolski fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UNITED GWAREK's protests and gave Zbyszko Wielgopolski a yellow card for diving instead. Zbyszko Wielgopolski hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. When Zygmunt Bubczyk came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the UNITED GWAREK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Zygmunt Bubczyk couldn't finish the play. AGT Team were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
