Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) SS SuperSonics's Tadeusz Radzyminski started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herbert Pazura in the 3rd minute of play forced Republica Ploiești's goalkeeper Pompiliu Hâncu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of SS SuperSonics booed when Republica Ploiești was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Godeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 6th minute Tadeusz Radzyminski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pompiliu Hâncu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Radzyminski in the 7th minute of play forced Republica Ploiești's goalkeeper Pompiliu Hâncu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 9thth minute of the game Tadeusz Radzyminski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Republica Ploiești's Pompiliu Hâncu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 14th minute, Radowit Jazowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The SS SuperSonics fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. A collision led to SS SuperSonics getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Szczepan Opat hit a great ball. Republica Ploiești's Costel Lepuș couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 18th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for SS SuperSonics. In the 22nd match minute, SS SuperSonics was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Szczepan Opat to maneuver through the defense. 25 minutes into the match, Republica Ploiești's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeusz Radzyminski came free, but Pompiliu Hâncu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. SS SuperSonics's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ioan Brânza 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. After a defensive mix-up in Republica Ploiești's zone, Tadeusz Radzyminski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pompiliu Hâncu came out of the goal and Tadeusz Radzyminski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 44 minutes into the match, Tadeusz Radzyminski notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Republica Ploiești's Pompiliu Hâncu. Pompiliu Hâncu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dan Godeanu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tadeusz Radzyminski in the 52nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pompiliu Hâncu saved Republica Ploiești from getting behind. Cyprian Podolski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ioan Brânza in the 54th minute of play. Republica Ploiești's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Tadeusz Radzyminski scored to the left of an out of position Pompiliu Hâncu, making the score, 1-5. Dan Godeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. In the 70thth minute of the game Gucci Gangstad who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Republica Ploiești's Pompiliu Hâncu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Cyprian Podolski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dan Godeanu in the 81st minute of the match. After 82 played minutes Republica Ploiești got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Trifan. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gucci Gangstad in the 84th minute of play forced Republica Ploiești's goalkeeper Pompiliu Hâncu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Republica Ploiești defense, Gucci Gangstad kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Pompiliu Hâncu. The Republica Ploiești fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Pompiliu Hâncu should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Republica Ploiești booed when SS SuperSonics was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Teobald Zukowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Republica Ploiești supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching SS SuperSonics's performance. The match ended with a win for SS SuperSonics.
