In the 10thth minute of the game Dan Godeanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AGT Team's Fermín Aceves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Manuel Trifan hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. Costel Lepuș charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Lazaro Aizpurua hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, AGT Team's Angelo Gómez got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in AGT Team's zone, Ioan Brânza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fermín Aceves came out of the goal and Ioan Brânza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 27 minutes into the match, Lucian Luțu notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of AGT Team's Fermín Aceves. Fermín Aceves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of AGT Team booed when Republica Ploiești was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Godeanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 32 minutes into the match, Republica Ploiești's goal looked a bit too open when Mustafá Maldonado came free, but Pompiliu Hâncu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Tulio Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. AGT Team's supporters rose to their feet, but Tulio Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pompiliu Hâncu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 played minutes Republica Ploiești got a freekick which was hit by Lucian Luțu. The supporters of AGT Team booed when Republica Ploiești was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costel Lepuș didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to AGT Team getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Garci Macho hit a great ball.

Fermín Aceves made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Dan Godeanu sent off a good shot on target. When Garci Macho fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AGT Team's protests and gave Garci Macho a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Republica Ploiești's Lucian Luțu got a free kick in the 64th minute. After 67 played minutes Republica Ploiești got a freekick which was hit by Cosmin Chiriță. Lucian Luțu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fermín Aceves having to interfere. Fermín Aceves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dan Godeanu's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Manuel Trifan hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. After 79 minutes, Ioan Brânza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Republica Ploiești and the AGT Team players grew even worse after the yellow card.
