Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Fabian Arendarski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Zagłębie Dąbrowskie from getting a goal against them. 19 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goal looked a bit too open when Manolo Bacete came free, but Fabian Arendarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eusebio Quijana charged in rather forcefully in the 21st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusebio Quijana the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to A.D. Alcorcón getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. In the 32nd minute of the match, Belo Alvarez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Fabian Arendarski was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fabian Arendarski was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 35th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Leroy Antunez. 38 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goal looked a bit too open when Manolo Bacete came free, but Fabian Arendarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Maurino Serena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leopoldo Manta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 46 minutes of play, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Leopoldo Manta made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Maurino Serena was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Belo Alvarez stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Belo Alvarez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. A.D. Alcorcón's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belo Alvarez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
