In the 15th minute, one of Modlau:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Modlau. The score was 1-0 after a penalty in the 16th minute, where Zagłębie Dąbrowskie:s Ömür Seyfeddin tricked Modlau:s Sebastian Winszman with a difficult ball by the left post. Fabian Arendarski didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Barry McCray went, in the 19th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Barry McCray in the 24th minute of play forced Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goalkeeper Fabian Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24thth minute of the game Barry McCray who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Fabian Arendarski was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 28th minute of the match, Karol Biskupiak got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sebastian Winszman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Fabian Arendarski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dominic Salazar in the 29th minute of play. István Hoffman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 33rd minute of the match, but Sebastian Winszman made a huge save. In the 35th minute Barry McCray shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Karol Biskupiak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jânio Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wincenty Mochowak scored 1-2 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Arendarski, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Ömür Seyfeddin got a free kick in the 45th minute.

The wind increased when Barry McCray made the kick off in the second half. In the last second Fabian Arendarski throw himself and got hold of the ball when Dominic Salazar in the 52ndth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. 57 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goal looked a bit too open when Dominic Salazar came free, but Fabian Arendarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 69 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goalkeeper Fabian Arendarski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jarmo Laik. Modlau made a substitution. Damazy Jucha replaced Wincenty Mochowak. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Patryk Zukowski was substituted for Karol Biskupiak. Modlau made a substitution.
