La Candela FC's Jacobo Urdin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save La Candela FC from getting a goal against them. Marciano Min could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 14th minute of the match, but Jacobo Urdin made a huge save. Zuberbühler FC's Saul Baumer got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 19th minute, Saul Lamberto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Cirilo Ebardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute Liu Liang Gang shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurenz Goddez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Borsos in the 34th minute of play forced Zuberbühler FC's goalkeeper Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 34 played minutes Zuberbühler FC got a freekick which was hit by Saul Lamberto. Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laurenz Goddez in the 38th minute of play. Cirilo Ebardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Jacobo Urdin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marciano Min to strike the kick off in the second half. La Candela FC's Jacobo Urdin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marciano Min in the 52nd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Zuberbühler FC's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Servando came free, but Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of La Candela FC booed when Zuberbühler FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Saul Lamberto didn't get a good kick on the ball. La Candela FC's Laurenz Goddez got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Iwan Sebzda in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jacobo Urdin saved La Candela FC from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Iwan Sebzda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Zuberbühler FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Iwan Sebzda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jacobo Urdin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 71st play minute Damian Servando came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri. 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Florentino Lastur in the 74th minute of play forced La Candela FC's goalkeeper Jacobo Urdin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tiberiu Fința hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. In the 86th minute of the match La Candela FC got a corner. Zuberbühler FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Damian Servando ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Liu Liang Gang almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Zuberbühler FC's Ubaldo Matildo Abbondanzieri did a great save.
