After 31 minutes Deportivo Capitalista's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Ayaz Akhmetshin who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Sportivo Fernet Branca's Ayaz Akhmetshin to fire away a dangerous shot which Andreas Hägglund despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 35thth minute of the game Norberto Ranolfo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sportivo Fernet Branca's Tsinamdzghvrishvili Brzęczyszczykiewicz was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sportivo Fernet Branca's Tsinamdzghvrishvili Brzęczyszczykiewicz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Arnoldo Fix in the 38th minute of play. When Gustavo-Hernán Egoi came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the Sportivo Fernet Branca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustavo-Hernán Egoi couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Deportivo Capitalista booed when Sportivo Fernet Branca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Many of Deportivo Capitalista's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Deportivo Capitalista may have spent more time on the ball, but Sportivo Fernet Branca were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
