The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Hector Hugo scored 1-0 in the 5th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Lehen, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. FUF F.C's Aurelio Lehen proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save FUF F.C from getting a goal against them. In the 40th minute of the match Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK got a corner. FUF F.C's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marius Neset ran over to the corner to take the kick. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Marius Neset was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Aurelio Lehen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Momo Sampler scored 1-1 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurel Crivoi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hector Hugo was the one to do the kick off. Edwin Uter made in the 69th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Radomil Michnik however managed to control. With a little luck, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's Aurel Crivoi got control of the ball when Atabek Ula tried to sneak it across the goal line. FUF F.C's Aurelio Lehen played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernt Offendahl in the 79th minute of play. In the 82nd minute Hector Hugo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Lehen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentino Ricci took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aurel Crivoi. Aurel Crivoi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. In the 91st minute, Bernt Offendahl ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Lehen was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. The throw-in from Guld Run in the 93rd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by FUF F.C's Simon Phillips.

There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK fully deserved thier win.
