The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, Otsoko Balmaceda ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Redha Elin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Gwidon Dubilas was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bogdan Fikus showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-1 in the 6 minute of play. Norbert Kolacki kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Redha Elin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otsoko Balmaceda in the 10th minute of play. The supporters of Lech Max booed when RS Wikowyje was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arkadiusz Damaski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gwidon Dubilas made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bogdan Fikus in the 14th minute. Redha Elin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Otsoko Balmaceda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 19th minute Otsoko Balmaceda shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Redha Elin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otsoko Balmaceda in the 25th minute of play forced RS Wikowyje's goalkeeper Redha Elin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 26th minute Lech Max were awarded a corner. Ralph Dolby went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led to Lech Max's Krzysztof Bycofski getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Redha Elin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otsoko Balmaceda in the 30th minute of play. In the 31stth minute of the game Bogdan Fikus who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lech Max's Gwidon Dubilas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. RS Wikowyje's Redha Elin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Otsoko Balmaceda in the 35th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Otsoko Balmaceda managed to get in a good position for a shot. Lech Max's supporters rose to their feet, but Otsoko Balmaceda was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Redha Elin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With an all-out effort, RS Wikowyje's Gwidon Dubilas threw himself towards the right post 42 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Pawel Kowalski, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bogdan Fikus got free with Gwidon Dubilas in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. RS Wikowyje's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Korneliusz Bejger in the 47th minute. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bogdan Fikus was the one to do the kick off. RS Wikowyje's Grzegorz Gniech quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Krzysztof Bycofski, made in the 53rd minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in RS Wikowyje's zone, Otsoko Balmaceda stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Redha Elin came out of the goal and Otsoko Balmaceda tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Otsoko Balmaceda got free with Redha Elin in the 68th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Redha Elin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Otsoko Balmaceda, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Lech Max were awarded a corner in the 79th minute after RS Wikowyje's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ralph Dolby took the corner. When Lech Max's Otsoko Balmaceda in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. RS Wikowyje walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
