The supporters of Santos Campineiro booed when Retumbante FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Naldo Sabóia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Retumbante FC's goal looked a bit too open when Sidnei Baptista came free, but Wilmer Gallo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Retumbante FC's Wilmer Gallo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Onuralp Ergüden in the 23rd minute of play. Wilmer Gallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sidnei Baptista, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Jonathan Orlandus kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. If Kauã Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilmer Gallo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jonathan Orlandus, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Santos Campineiro's Ahmad Reza Asadi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabinho Bittencourt in the 34th minute of play. In the 37th minute Fabinho Bittencourt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ahmad Reza Asadi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Kauã Mandrak could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Ahmad Reza Asadi made a huge save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Santos Campineiro made a substitution. Sidney Albuquerque replaced Jonathan Orlandus. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Décio Antonio to make the kick off. If Décio Antonio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Décio Antonio in the 57th minute of play forced Santos Campineiro's goalkeeper Ahmad Reza Asadi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilmer Gallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Onuralp Ergüden in the 59th minute of play. Wilmer Gallo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Onuralp Ergüden, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luiz Fernando Souza struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Wilmer Gallo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Santos Campineiro. Ahmad Reza Asadi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kauã Mandrak in the 68th minute of play. Ahmad Reza Asadi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kauã Mandrak in the 70th minute of the match. Wilmer Gallo made a fantastic save in the 74th minute, when Luiz Fernando Souza sent off a good shot on target. After 76 played minutes Retumbante FC got a freekick which was hit by Basílio Cearense. Ahmad Reza Asadi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Décio Antonio in the 80th minute of play. Wilmer Gallo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fabrício Baloy in the 81st minute. Ahmad Reza Asadi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kauã Mandrak, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. Fabrício Baloy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Wilmer Gallo made a huge save. Wilmer Gallo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Onuralp Ergüden in the 88th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Santos Campineiro's zone, Fabinho Bittencourt stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ahmad Reza Asadi came out of the goal and Fabinho Bittencourt tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee ended the match the Retumbante FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
