Carioca 【CIMZ】's zone, Hugo Lucian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cipriano Abreu came out of the goal and Hugo Lucian tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Casper Granqvists short, quick shot in the 21stth minute got Alessandro Linares to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hubertas Dabkevičius was the one to do the kick off. Mauro Gerber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alessandro Linares having to interfere. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The A. A. Carioca 【CIMZ】 fans cheered their team off the field, for while Caldebrazza had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
