After 86 played minutes, Cöpacabana FC's Talha İstanbul shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Alessandro Linares came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cöpacabana FC reached it. Stig-Åke Benet could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 88th minute of the match, but Alessandro Linares made a huge save. In the 91st minute, Luís Paulo Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Caldebrazza's Alessandro Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dobromir Brudnicki in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute, Angelino Gentza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Cöpacabana FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
