Brugge United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dionisia the free kick. Dionisia made a substitution. Nemesio Eudoxio replaced Jimeno Dalmai. 10 minutes into the game, one of Brugge United:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Vítor Baia had in the 12thth minute some difficulties stopping Peng Sha Yang's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Serafim Eanes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Guido Vissenaeken, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Brugge United booed when Dionisia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stanislovas Miškinis didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dionisia's Serafim Eanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Guido Vissenaeken in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, Florencio Chano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Dionisia fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Ümit Karan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Vítor Baia made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nemesio Eudoxio in the 89th minute. Sandro Gaúcho hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Dionisia eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
