An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Pay in the 6th minute of play forced El Gallo de Moron's goalkeeper Nacho Gonzalez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisinho Laguna in the 8th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Honorato Aznaro saved Habsburgo from getting behind. In the 19th minute Willian Pay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nacho Gonzalez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Nacho Gonzalez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Willian Pay in the 20th minute of play. Franco Ternero hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, El Gallo de Moron's Franco Ternero got a free kick in the 27th minute. A nice corner shot did that Domenico Di Nino got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Nacho Gonzalez quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Luisinho Laguna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Honorato Aznaro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luisinho Laguna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teofilo Garrote fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Honorato Aznaro having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Willian Pay was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, El Gallo de Moron's Gary Medel got a free kick in the 50th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Willian Pay in the 53rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nacho Gonzalez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Habsburgo's Honorato Aznaro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save Habsburgo from getting a goal against them. 61 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's goal looked a bit too open when Willian Pay came free, but Nacho Gonzalez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, El Gallo de Moron's Luisinho Laguna sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Honorato Aznaro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Habsburgo's Levent Itzov was substituted for Saverio Lehoi. Habsburgo made a substitution. Sebastian Froylan replaced Willian Pay. El Gallo de Moron's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Teofilo Garrote in the 70th minute. After taking down the ball on El Gallo de Moron's corner Teofilo Garrote fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Honorato Aznaro quite easily take care of the ball. Sebastian Froylan got in the 73rd a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Nacho Gonzalez handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. When the match clock showed 73 minutes, the score became 3-1 when Sebastian Froylan sped through El Gallo de Moron's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Nacho Gonzalez. Nacho Gonzalez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Herberts Dreizis, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute.

Habsburgo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
