The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Marcelo Cordero to strike the kick off in the second half. When Fac. de Ed. José Maria Goiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcelo Cordero in the 68th minute of the match. Dražen Ladić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jon-Egil Schjelderup in the 70th minute of play. In the 78th minute Kalle Billberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dražen Ladić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeng Xu Yuan in the 86th minute of play forced Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's goalkeeper Dražen Ladić to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fac. de Ed. Fisica UNT's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Cássio Maia helped the player get up and apologised. Cássio Maia hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match.
