Cristiano Bucciarelli took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natalio Guter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alberigo Montini made in the 7th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Donato Goiz. In the 10th minute Natalio Guter shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Bucciarelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Donato Goiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Emilio Shepherd read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, KN ZGORZELEC's goal looked a bit too open when Lambis Vrinios came free, but Emilio Shepherd reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. André Luís Valladares hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Goiz in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emilio Shepherd saved KN ZGORZELEC from getting behind. 22 minutes into the match, G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's goal looked a bit too open when Natalio Guter came free, but Cristiano Bucciarelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. KN ZGORZELEC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Mariusz Kaleta in the 27th minute. Natalio Guter received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Cristiano Bucciarelli came out and tried to block the shot, but Natalio Guter slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 29th minute. KN ZGORZELEC's Emilio Shepherd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Donato Goiz in the 32nd minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Natalio Guter kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Cristiano Bucciarelli. That made the score 2-0 in the 36 minute of play. The audience was convinced that Natalio Guter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Bucciarelli was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. Emilio Shepherd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Donato Goiz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Donato Goiz to make the kick off. Emilio Shepherd made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Rafael Leão sent off a good shot on target. Galabin Venev hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. 61 minutes into the match, KN ZGORZELEC's goalkeeper Emilio Shepherd had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rafael Leão. In the 62nd minute G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola were awarded a corner. Emilio Persichetti went to the cornerflag to take it. G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola made a substitution. Alvaro Nobile replaced Rafael Leão. Alvaro Nobile might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emilio Shepherd. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Nobile ran back to his position shaking his head. 74 minutes into the match, Natalio Guter had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristiano Bucciarelli. G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Natalio Guter was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Cristiano Bucciarelli stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Natalio Guter's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. In the 90th match minute, KN ZGORZELEC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Natalio Guter to maneuver through the defense. In the 93rd minute, Donato Goiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of KN ZGORZELEC booed when G.S. Prisma Fiorenzuola was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valerio Lorenzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Mariusz Kaleta managed to get in a good position for a shot. KN ZGORZELEC's supporters rose to their feet, but Mariusz Kaleta was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cristiano Bucciarelli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
