In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Höglunda IK's goalkeeper Vito Furlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Vito Furlan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 23rd minute, Karl-Erik Lundgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricart Futebol Clube's Andres Ekhi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Haglund in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the game, Peter Haglund cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-1. Andres Ekhi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Ramalho in the 34th minute of play forced Höglunda IK's goalkeeper Vito Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Vito Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abel Ramalho in the 37th minute of the match. Höglunda IK's Vito Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abel Ramalho in the 39th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Abel Ramalho in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vito Furlan saved Höglunda IK from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Ramalho in the 42nd minute of play forced Höglunda IK's goalkeeper Vito Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 44th match minute, Ricart Futebol Clube was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rubens Neves to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andreas Eliasson was the one to do the kick off. Abel Ramalho ran back to his position shaking his head. Vito Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Ramalho in the 66th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Ramalho in the 68th minute of play forced Höglunda IK's goalkeeper Vito Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Höglunda IK's goalkeeper Vito Furlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 86 minutes into the match, Geovânio Gerber notched a goal, 5-1, to the right of Höglunda IK's Vito Furlan. Vito Furlan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Ricart Futebol Clube fully deserved thier win.
