After a rather tough play, Höglunda IK's Sivert Holmgren got a free kick in the 6th minute. Rickard Erserman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito Furlan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Höglunda IK's goalie and right to Samuel Abel. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Höglunda IK's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Vito Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Erserman in the 10th minute of play. Rickard Erserman took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vito Furlan. Vito Furlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind Höglunda IK's goalkeeper Vito Furlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ingemar Vallander made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Inter de Chillán's Tobías Izamit. Vito Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rickard Erserman, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Vito Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rickard Erserman in the 25th minute of play. After 25 minutes of play, Inter de Chillán's Rickard Erserman made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vito Furlan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ingemar Vallander hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Vito Furlan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rickard Erserman went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Höglunda IK's goalkeeper Vito Furlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vatan Enfal in the 36th minute of play forced Höglunda IK's goalkeeper Vito Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Inter de Chillán's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tobías Izamit in the 37th minute. After taking down the ball on Inter de Chillán's corner Salvador Mateluna fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Vito Furlan quite easily take care of the ball. Vito Furlan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vatan Enfal in the 38th minute of play. Vatan Enfal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Vito Furlan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vito Furlan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Vatan Enfal in the 43rd minute of the match. In the 43rd minute, Vatan Enfal made a precise shot to the right of Vito Furlan. Höglunda IK's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Höglunda IK's goalkeeper Vito Furlan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Höglunda IK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Inter de Chillán were winning 0-4.

After some careless play in the Höglunda IK defense, Vatan Enfal kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Vito Furlan. The Höglunda IK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Vito Furlan should have stopped the shot. Vatan Enfal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito Furlan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute of the match Inter de Chillán got a corner. Höglunda IK's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Tobías Izamit ran over to the corner to take the kick. Vatan Enfal's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vito Furlan read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Vatan Enfal took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vito Furlan. Vito Furlan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-7. Robin Carlsson charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Robin Carlsson the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Höglunda IK getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Robin Carlsson hit a great ball. Vito Furlan stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vatan Enfal's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Höglunda IK's Vito Furlan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vatan Enfal in the 82nd minute of play. Inter de Chillán were awarded a corner in the 83th minute after Höglunda IK's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tobías Izamit took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Albino Zenteno got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Vito Furlan quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Inter de Chillán's Florencio Jax got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 90 minutes, Ingemar Vallander mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Höglunda IK and the Inter de Chillán players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ingemar Vallander hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Vatan Enfal struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Vito Furlan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Inter de Chillán. After 93 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Höglunda IK! When the match was over Inter de Chillán could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Höglunda IK throughout the match.
