After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Jörn Helström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cura del Futbol's supporters rose to their feet, but Jörn Helström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vito Furlan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jörn Helström in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vito Furlan saved Höglunda IK from getting behind. 31 minutes into the match, Cura del Futbol's Jörn Helström sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vito Furlan narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jörn Helström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 83rd minute Cura del Futbol were awarded a corner. Karl-Erik Nordal went to the cornerflag to take it. Jörn Helström might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Vito Furlan. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vito Furlan made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 9-0. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Cura del Futbol fans cheered their team off the field, for while Höglunda IK had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
