After 79 played minutes, El Gallo de Moron's Teofilo Garrote shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Elpidio Bilintx came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in El Gallo de Moron reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luisinho Laguna in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elpidio Bilintx saved Gladiator FC from getting behind. Nacho Gonzalez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Vaggelis Mitsiou in the 85th minute. Elpidio Bilintx showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Laguna, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. A collision led to Gladiator FC getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Michael-Elvis Flumian hit a great ball. If Luisinho Laguna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gladiator FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
