After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Cody Hall managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oxford United's supporters rose to their feet, but Cody Hall was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruce Torres breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Young Wolfe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Torres having to interfere. Alonzo Dykes made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Waldo Fairchild sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute, Young Wolfe made a precise shot to the right of Bruce Torres. Queens Park Rangers's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. A collision led to Oxford United getting a freekick after 40 minutes play.
