Shamokin FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Jamal Leon 11 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-0. Rick Frost sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hillsville AF's attentive Josiah Zavala managed to snatch the ball when Claudio Chambers made a throw-in in the 36th minute of the game. After a defensive mix-up in Shamokin FC's zone, Guillermo Bauman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nolan Bannister came out of the goal and Guillermo Bauman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Jerrod Dean fell near the penalty area in the 38th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Shamokin FC's protests and gave Jerrod Dean a yellow card for diving instead. Jerrod Dean kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Jamal Leon kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Ari Boyle charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ari Boyle the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 42 played minutes Shamokin FC got a freekick which was hit by Ari Boyle. Guillermo Bauman hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jamal Leon made a kick off. Benedict Timmons took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Boyd Grant, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Shamokin FC's Nolan Bannister played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamal Leon in the 54th minute of play. In the 58th minute of the game Virgil Ruff made a throw-in which Shayne Tinsley played forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jonathon Seymour in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedict Timmons prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 60 played minutes Hillsville AF got a freekick which was hit by Josiah Zavala. The crowd rose to their feet as Shamokin FC's Jonathon Seymour slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benedict Timmons. That made the score 2-2 after 62 minutes of play. The audience was convinced that Jonathon Seymour's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benedict Timmons was relentless in the 65th minute of the game. Nolan Bannister dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. A collision led to Hillsville AF getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Joel Avalos hit a great ball. When Jamal Leon fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hillsville AF's protests and gave Jamal Leon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 79th minute, Jamal Leon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 81st minute Jonathon Seymour shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benedict Timmons saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jamal Leon in the 94th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nolan Bannister prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Guillermo Bauman scored 4-2 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nolan Bannister, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
