Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ahmed Mazzid took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 2nd minute, Ahmed Mazzid hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 5 minutes, Preston Keene managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Queens Park Rangers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Preston Keene was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Waldo Fairchild had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mansour Harkouk. Sanfrecce Hiroshima's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Waldo Fairchild was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After 13 minutes Sanfrecce Hiroshima's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Preston Keene who took care of the corner kick. A collision led to Sanfrecce Hiroshima getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Yazid Bahari hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Queens Park Rangers's Waldo Fairchild got a free kick in the 20th minute. Waldo Fairchild might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mansour Harkouk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Waldo Fairchild ran back to his position shaking his head. Mansour Harkouk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Theodore Hastings in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Waldo Fairchild had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mansour Harkouk. Sanfrecce Hiroshima's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Waldo Fairchild was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. In the 29th match minute, Queens Park Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eddie Lange to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Sanfrecce Hiroshima's zone, Theodore Hastings stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mansour Harkouk came out of the goal and Theodore Hastings tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Theodore Hastings managed to get in a good position for a shot. Queens Park Rangers's supporters rose to their feet, but Theodore Hastings was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mansour Harkouk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mansour Harkouk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Waldo Fairchild in the 41st minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Theodore Hastings in the 44th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mansour Harkouk saved Sanfrecce Hiroshima from getting behind. Waldo Fairchild received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Mansour Harkouk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mansour Harkouk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Theodore Hastings, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Sanfrecce Hiroshima players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Queens Park Rangers were winning 0-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Theodore Hastings made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Preston Keene got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the match, Sanfrecce Hiroshima's goal looked a bit too open when Waldo Fairchild came free, but Mansour Harkouk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Sanfrecce Hiroshima's zone, Theodore Hastings stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mansour Harkouk came out of the goal and Theodore Hastings tried to chip the ball over his head. Mansour Harkouk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodger Robles in the 67th minute of the match. In the 69th minute, Fouad Al-Jazairia hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 73rd minute, Waldo Fairchild made a precise shot to the right of Mansour Harkouk. Sanfrecce Hiroshima's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. Rodger Robles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ahmed Mazzid came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Sanfrecce Hiroshima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ahmed Mazzid couldn't finish the play. Rodger Robles recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 86 minutes into the match, Theodore Hastings dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mansour Harkouk, 0-4. In the 90th minute, Preston Keene got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Queens Park Rangers's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
