Faouzi Boutabout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Tallia having to interfere. Aldo Tipi charged in rather forcefully in the 10th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Aldo Tipi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Roman y Gero FC getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Aldo Tipi hit a great ball. Faouzi Boutabout fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauricio Tallia having to interfere. Roman y Gero FC's Evaristo Gombal managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Ali Mimoun in the 14 minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Roman y Gero FC's Matias Rivas got a free kick in the 17th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Ali Mimoun in the 20th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Roman y Gero FC's Evaristo Gombal. 23 minutes into the game, Roman y Gero FC's Gilberto Cresencio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abdelmalek Sifi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Roman y Gero FC's attentive Evaristo Gombal managed to snatch the ball when Ali Mimoun made a throw-in in the 27th minute of the game. After having played for 31 minutes, Faouzi Boutabout managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gothenburg FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Faouzi Boutabout was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 38 minutes into the game, Ali Mimoun threw the ball into play from the sideline. Roman y Gero FC's Evaristo Gombal quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Abdelmalek Sifi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alfredo Herena, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gualterio Policarpio hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Aldo Tipi kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faouzi Boutabout to make the kick off. After 53 minutes, Gilberto Cresencio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Roman y Gero FC and the Gothenburg FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gilberto Cresencio kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. 55 minutes into the game, Amar Djenia Lkbira threw the ball into play from the sideline. Roman y Gero FC's Aldo Tipi quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 55th minute, Aldo Tipi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Roman y Gero FC's Alfredo Herena slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abdelmalek Sifi. That made the score 0-4 after 60 minutes of play. Gothenburg FC's Abdelmalek Sifi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmar Obano in the 67th minute of play. Abdelmalek Sifi came out of the goal in the 69th minute to try and stop a shot by Roman y Gero FC's Victoriano Pabla. But to his dismay, Victoriano Pabla quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-5. Faouzi Boutabout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Mauricio Tallia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 1-5 became the score in the 75th minute when Faouzi Boutabout elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. If Faouzi Boutabout had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Mauricio Tallia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Faouzi Boutabout, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Alfredo Herena hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Abdelmalek Sifi made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Alfredo Herena sent off a good shot on target. Faouzi Boutabout received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Mauricio Tallia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mauricio Tallia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Faouzi Boutabout, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Gothenburg FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Roman y Gero FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
