In the 10th minute, Ledesma's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ashley Bäßler fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ashley Bäßler who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 16thth minute tested the skills of Marcial Salvidor when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Timur Pilz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 22nd minute, Ashley Bäßler ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcial Salvidor was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Joel Cordeal kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. Marcial Salvidor was out of position in the 26 minute of play, and Ashley Bäßler capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Ashley Bäßler really showed his touch with that goal: 3-0. Marcial Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timur Pilz, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ashley Bäßler in the 47th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcial Salvidor saved Ledesma from getting behind. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

51 minutes into the match, Ashley Bäßler had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marcial Salvidor. Ledesma's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ashley Bäßler was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Hansa Rostock's Davor Saller proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to save Hansa Rostock from getting a goal against them. In the 60thth minute of the game Ashley Bäßler who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ledesma's Marcial Salvidor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 61st minute, Ashley Bäßler made a precise shot to the right of Marcial Salvidor. Ledesma's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. Marcial Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ashley Bäßler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. But to his dismay, Ashley Bäßler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-0. Davor Saller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Americo Sol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ashley Bäßler came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Hansa Rostock fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ashley Bäßler couldn't finish the play. The throw-in from Santo Fertus in the 84th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Hansa Rostock's Dan Haug. The supporters of Hansa Rostock booed when Ledesma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ildefonso Mattin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marcial Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ashley Bäßler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 87th minute, Ariel Damario hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marcial Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ashley Bäßler, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Hansa Rostock had won after a very even match.
