Alfredo Basso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruce Torres having to interfere. Alex Di Meo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Bruce Torres made a huge save. In the 18th minute Theodore Hastings shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damiano Pizzi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Theodore Hastings sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 69th minute, Alex Di Meo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 70th minute, Theodore Hastings fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Theodore Hastings sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Queens Park Rangers played a much better game than Barcelona and deserved their victory. The Barcelona players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
