Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Theodore Hastings started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Anfilogino Melone sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldo Fairchild in the 9th minute of play forced US Albenga's goalkeeper Alex Pacella to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alex Pacella came out of the goal in the 9th minute to try and stop a shot by Queens Park Rangers's Waldo Fairchild. But to his dismay, Waldo Fairchild quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. When the match clock showed 15 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Anfilogino Melone sped through Queens Park Rangers's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Bruce Torres. Bruce Torres took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anfilogino Melone, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anfilogino Melone in the 22nd minute of play forced Queens Park Rangers's goalkeeper Bruce Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Queens Park Rangers's zone, Anfilogino Melone stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruce Torres came out of the goal and Anfilogino Melone tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Theodore Hastings took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alex Pacella. Alex Pacella dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After 47 minutes of play, US Albenga's Anfilogino Melone made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bruce Torres was left in no man's land by his defense there! US Albenga made a substitution. Alvise Restaino replaced Aldo Renzetti. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Anfilogino Melone was the one to do the kick off. Queens Park Rangers's Bruce Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniele Panella in the 54th minute of play. Anson Skinner's late challenge caught a US Albenga's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anson Skinner helped the player get up and apologised. After 60 played minutes Queens Park Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Anson Skinner. In the 61st minute of the match Beniamin Bara shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bruce Torres showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Bruce Torres made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anfilogino Melone in the 62nd minute. Daniele Panella might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruce Torres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniele Panella ran back to his position shaking his head. Bruce Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniele Panella in the 65th minute of play. If Anfilogino Melone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 66th match minute, Queens Park Rangers was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Waldo Fairchild to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Queens Park Rangers booed when US Albenga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anfilogino Melone didn't get a good kick on the ball. 70 minutes into the match, Queens Park Rangers's goalkeeper Bruce Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Anfilogino Melone. Anfilogino Melone could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Bruce Torres made a huge save. Alex Pacella took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldo Fairchild, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vitomir Piralkov kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. 78 minutes into the match, Queens Park Rangers's goalkeeper Bruce Torres had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniele Panella. When Bernardo Scrima fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored US Albenga's protests and gave Bernardo Scrima a yellow card for diving instead. A sloppy throw-in by Alvise Restaino in the 91st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Queens Park Rangers's Rosario Lunsford.
