Nolan Bannister didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ildefonso Mattin went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. The supporters of Shamokin FC booed when Ledesma was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Seme didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shamokin FC's Nolan Bannister played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ildefonso Mattin in the 38th minute of play. A collision led to Shamokin FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Rick Frost hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Americo Sol had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nolan Bannister. Shamokin FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Americo Sol was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jonathon Seymour to make the kick off. Nolan Bannister took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ermegildo Hartz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ildefonso Mattin kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathon Seymour in the 60th minute of play forced Ledesma's goalkeeper Marcial Salvidor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 91stth minute of the game Jonathon Seymour who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ledesma's Marcial Salvidor was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ledesma's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
