Norbert Patel was slow to take the kick. During this time Oxford United's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Oxford United's Norbert Patel to fire away a dangerous shot which Mansour Harkouk despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Sanfrecce Hiroshima's Mansour Harkouk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Young Wolfe in the 8th minute of play. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Oxford United had played much better football throughout.
