Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Okan Ergüç took the kick off in the first half of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Sanfrecce Hiroshima's goal looked a bit too open when Baykan Sanak came free, but Mansour Harkouk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Okan Ergüç in the 7th minute of play forced Sanfrecce Hiroshima's goalkeeper Mansour Harkouk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Okan Ergüç fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mansour Harkouk having to interfere. After 12 minutes, Okan Ergüç made it 0-1 with a short kick to the right side. Sanfrecce Hiroshima's Mansour Harkouk tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Mansour Harkouk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sertaç Taştan, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Sanfrecce Hiroshima's Mansour Harkouk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Necati Denizer in the 18th minute of play. In the 21st match minute, Artvin FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orhan Seyfi Aktaç to maneuver through the defense. In the 24th minute, Okan Ergüç left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Artvin FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The supporters of Artvin FC booed when Sanfrecce Hiroshima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fouad Al-Jazairia didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lakhdar Ulansi hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Mansour Harkouk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Baykan Sanak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 42nd minute Okan Ergüç shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mansour Harkouk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 44 played minutes Artvin FC got a freekick which was hit by Bahtiyar Kağan. After the first half Artvin FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ahmed Mazzid made a kick off. Sanfrecce Hiroshima's Mansour Harkouk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okan Ergüç in the 55th minute of play. 56 minutes into the match, Artvin FC's Sertaç Taştan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Mansour Harkouk narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Mustafa Necati Denizer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mansour Harkouk having to interfere. Sanfrecce Hiroshima's Mansour Harkouk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Necati Denizer in the 61st minute of play. In the 62nd minute, Artvin FC's Okan Ergüç dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. The audience was convinced that Mustafa Necati Denizer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mansour Harkouk was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Mansour Harkouk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Okan Ergüç in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Artvin FC's Mustafa Necati Denizer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mansour Harkouk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. A sloppy throw-in by Orhan Seyfi Aktaç in the 85th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Sanfrecce Hiroshima's Abdelhamid Ben Khalidi. Okan Ergüç got in the 87th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Mansour Harkouk handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Mansour Harkouk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Okan Ergüç in the 88th minute of play. After 89 played minutes Sanfrecce Hiroshima got a freekick which was hit by Yazid Bahari. When the match was over Artvin FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Sanfrecce Hiroshima throughout the match.
