Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ahmed Mazzid made the kick off which started today's match. Sanfrecce Hiroshima were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Shamokin FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kasdi Harkouk took the corner. Donnie Guzman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 7th minute, Rick Frost ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mansour Harkouk was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. A collision led to Sanfrecce Hiroshima getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Hamid Kouici hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sanfrecce Hiroshima's zone, Rick Frost stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mansour Harkouk came out of the goal and Rick Frost tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 15 minutes into the game, Jonathon Seymour was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Shamokin FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Sanfrecce Hiroshima the free kick. A sloppy throw-in by Abdelhamid Ben Khalidi in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Shamokin FC's Aldo Skinner. Mansour Harkouk stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jonathon Seymour's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Rick Frost managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Shamokin FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rick Frost was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 20 minutes into the game, Lakhdar Ulansi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sanfrecce Hiroshima's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Shamokin FC the free kick. The supporters of Shamokin FC booed when Sanfrecce Hiroshima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lakhdar Ulansi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Shamokin FC's Boyd Grant got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Sanfrecce Hiroshima's Abdelhamid Ben Khalidi got a free kick in the 26th minute. Boyd Grant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aldo Skinner in the 29th minute of play forced Sanfrecce Hiroshima's goalkeeper Mansour Harkouk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Donnie Guzman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Abdelhamid Ben Khalidi suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Rick Frost's late challenge caught a Sanfrecce Hiroshima's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Rick Frost helped the player get up and apologised. Sanfrecce Hiroshima's Larbi Mammeri was substituted for Abdelhamid Ben Khalidi. Rick Frost kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 40th match minute, Sanfrecce Hiroshima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Larbi Mammeri to maneuver through the defense. After 41 played minutes, Shamokin FC's Boyd Grant shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mansour Harkouk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Shamokin FC reached it. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Jake Ball with Jonathon Seymour as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 46 minutes into the match, Sanfrecce Hiroshima's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathon Seymour came free, but Mansour Harkouk reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 47 minutes Sanfrecce Hiroshima's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Boyd Grant who took care of the corner kick. Jake Ball was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.
The wind increased when Jonathon Seymour made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Jonathon Seymour managed to get in a good position for a shot. Shamokin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jonathon Seymour was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mansour Harkouk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomas Key kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Mansour Harkouk showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rick Frost, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. If Boyd Grant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mansour Harkouk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonathon Seymour in the 67th minute of the match. Boyd Grant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mansour Harkouk having to interfere. Mansour Harkouk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rick Frost in the 92nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathon Seymour in the 94th minute of play forced Sanfrecce Hiroshima's goalkeeper Mansour Harkouk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Sanfrecce Hiroshima defense, Jonathon Seymour kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mansour Harkouk. The Sanfrecce Hiroshima fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mansour Harkouk should have stopped the shot.
