After 10 minutes, Shayne Tinsley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hillsville AF and the Gothenburg FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Gothenburg FC booed when Hillsville AF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Shayne Tinsley didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Guillermo Bauman came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Hillsville AF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Guillermo Bauman couldn't finish the play. Jamal Leon struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Abdelmalek Sifi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hillsville AF. 20 minutes into the match, Gothenburg FC's goalkeeper Abdelmalek Sifi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jamal Leon. 21 minutes into the match, Hillsville AF's Zackary Pierson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Abdelmalek Sifi narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Gothenburg FC's Kamel Bouteflika got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Guillermo Bauman hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. 28 minutes into the match, Harry Krause dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Abdelmalek Sifi, 2-0. The supporters of Gothenburg FC booed when Hillsville AF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Byron Conner didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Guillermo Bauman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Faouzi Boutabout to make the kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Hillsville AF's Guillermo Bauman made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Abdelmalek Sifi was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gothenburg FC's attentive Ali Mimoun managed to snatch the ball when Joel Avalos made a throw-in in the 56th minute of the game. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Jamal Leon put it in 4-0 from a short distance just to the right of Abdelmalek Sifi. Ali Mimoun kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Jamal Leon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guillermo Bauman in the 64th minute of play forced Gothenburg FC's goalkeeper Abdelmalek Sifi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Abdelmalek Sifi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guillermo Bauman, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. Abdelmalek Sifi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Guillermo Bauman in the 65th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zackary Pierson in the 66th minute of play forced Gothenburg FC's goalkeeper Abdelmalek Sifi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Bauman's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Abdelmalek Sifi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Guillermo Bauman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelmalek Sifi having to interfere. Gothenburg FC's Abdelmalek Sifi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zackary Pierson in the 70th minute of play. Abdelmalek Sifi came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Hillsville AF's Jamal Leon. But to his dismay, Jamal Leon quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gothenburg FC's goalkeeper Abdelmalek Sifi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Zackary Pierson kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. In the 82nd minute, Zackary Pierson made a precise shot to the right of Abdelmalek Sifi. Gothenburg FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-0. Abdelmalek Sifi came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Hillsville AF's Zackary Pierson. But to his dismay, Zackary Pierson quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-0. Virgil Ruff hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Shayne Tinsley kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Mohammad Kaci Diafat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.
