Timur Pilz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Zeynel Fazilet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ashley Bäßler got free with Zeynel Fazilet in the 8th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Reha Çakmur during the 9th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ashley Bäßler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeynel Fazilet stood somewhat misplaced when Ashley Bäßler came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 15 minute. Hansa Rostock's Ilja Wöllner got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yusuf Bahadır Oylum in the 19th minute of play forced Hansa Rostock's goalkeeper Davor Saller to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Davor Saller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yusuf Bahadır Oylum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Davor Saller showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yusuf Bahadır Oylum, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Hansa Rostock's Kurt Zinnbauer quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Seyfettin Şafakoğlu, made in the 25th minute of the game. Timur Pilz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 33 minutes, Nazmi Kıvılcım mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PAPADAPOULOS and the Hansa Rostock players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nazmi Kıvılcım hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. 36 minutes in the game, Ilja Wöllner fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Zeynel Fazilet having to interfere. 40 minutes into the game, Ashley Bäßler lined in a short shot 3-0 behind a frustrated Zeynel Fazilet. In the 44th minute Ashley Bäßler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeynel Fazilet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, PAPADAPOULOS's goalkeeper Zeynel Fazilet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ilja Wöllner. In the 46th minute, one of Hansa Rostock:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Hansa Rostock. The referee gave PAPADAPOULOS a penalty, 48 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ahmet Ziya Dengizer, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hansa Rostock's Davor Saller. 3-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yusuf Bahadır Oylum made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in PAPADAPOULOS's zone, Ashley Bäßler stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeynel Fazilet came out of the goal and Ashley Bäßler tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tobias Holstein charged in rather forcefully in the 58th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tobias Holstein the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tobias Holstein hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. After having played for 59 minutes, Feyzullay Tevfik managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. PAPADAPOULOS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feyzullay Tevfik was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ilja Wöllner took the ball and in the 62 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Zeynel Fazilet. Zeynel Fazilet dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Timur Pilz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Abayhan Erüstün during the 73rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Zeynel Fazilet had in the 74thth minute some difficulties stopping Siegfried Gabler's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 74 minutes into the game, Hansa Rostock's Siegfried Gabler nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Zeynel Fazilet made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-1. When Hansa Rostock's Ashley Bäßler in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye PAPADAPOULOS's goalie prevented a goal. Ashley Bäßler might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Zeynel Fazilet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ashley Bäßler ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 82nd minute, Jörg Bohnsack hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Davor Saller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ahmet Ziya Dengizer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 88 minutes into the match, Ashley Bäßler notched a goal, 6-1, to the right of PAPADAPOULOS's Zeynel Fazilet. Zeynel Fazilet was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Davor Saller took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Yusuf Bahadır Oylum, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leif-Eric Arnim hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Davor Saller showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yusuf Bahadır Oylum in the 98th minute of the match. Zeynel Fazilet came out of the goal in the 100th minute to try and stop a shot by Hansa Rostock's Ashley Bäßler. But to his dismay, Ashley Bäßler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. When the referee ended the match the Hansa Rostock players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
