In the 3rd minute, Anfilogino Melone got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Topkapi SK's goalkeeper Bektaş Veli Tunçkan, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Unione Sportiva Albenga fans' excitement grew in the 7th match minute when Unione Sportiva Albenga's Armin Muto looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Doğan Sidal managed to get in a good position for a shot. Topkapi SK's supporters rose to their feet, but Doğan Sidal was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alex Pacella breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 25thth minute of the game Armin Muto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Topkapi SK's Bektaş Veli Tunçkan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bektaş Veli Tunçkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Armin Muto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Topkapi SK defense, Armin Muto kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bektaş Veli Tunçkan. The Topkapi SK fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bektaş Veli Tunçkan should have stopped the shot. Bektaş Veli Tunçkan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuele Egger in the 31st minute of the match. With a little luck, Unione Sportiva Albenga's Alex Pacella got control of the ball when Onur Batüralp tried to sneak it across the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Armin Muto notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Topkapi SK's Bektaş Veli Tunçkan. Bektaş Veli Tunçkan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 65th minute, Serhan Canaydin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Topkapi SK booed when Unione Sportiva Albenga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andrea Marcantonio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Tacettin Saru came up free with the goalie in the 99th minute, the Topkapi SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tacettin Saru couldn't finish the play. The Unione Sportiva Albenga players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
