Mauricio Tallia came out of the goal in the 25th minute to try and stop a shot by Unione Sportiva Albenga's Armin Muto. But to his dismay, Armin Muto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 29th minute, Armin Muto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Armin Muto succeeded in the game's 48th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The wind increased when Emanuele Egger made the kick off in the second half. Andrea Marcantonio's late challenge caught a Roman y Gero FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfredo Herena in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Pacella prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Roman y Gero FC's Gualterio Policarpio got a free kick in the 59th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Unione Sportiva Albenga's Armin Muto slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mauricio Tallia. That made the score 0-6 after 62 minutes of play. The supporters of Roman y Gero FC booed when Unione Sportiva Albenga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Davide Spadoni didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Armin Muto fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mauricio Tallia, passed just outside the right post. Roman y Gero FC's Mauricio Tallia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Armin Muto in the 82nd minute of play. Roman y Gero FC's Mauricio Tallia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Roman y Gero FC from getting a goal against them. 86 minutes into the game, Evaristo Gombal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Roman y Gero FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Unione Sportiva Albenga the free kick. After a rather tough play, Roman y Gero FC's Evaristo Gombal got a free kick in the 86th minute. Evaristo Gombal hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Mauricio Tallia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuele Egger in the 89th minute of play. Roman y Gero FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Emanuele Egger scored to the left of an out of position Mauricio Tallia, making the score, 0-7. Andrea Marcantonio made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Roman y Gero FC's Evaristo Gombal. After a defensive mix-up in Unione Sportiva Albenga's zone, Aldo Tipi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alex Pacella came out of the goal and Aldo Tipi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Unione Sportiva Albenga's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
