Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Ahmed Mazzid made the kick off and thus started the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Mena FC's Wilbur Cortez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Mansour Harkouk. That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yazid Bahari during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Wilbur Cortez was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 10th minute. Mena FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 11th minute Wilbur Cortez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mansour Harkouk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute, Mena FC's Jackson Metz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Mansour Harkouk. Mansour Harkouk yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Mansour Harkouk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilbur Cortez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Davis Hinkle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mena FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Davis Hinkle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mansour Harkouk breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Mansour Harkouk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wilbur Cortez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 20th minute, Fouad Al-Jazairia made a precise shot to the right of Rolland Bonilla. Mena FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. In the 23rd minute, Davis Hinkle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cheikha Drioueche kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. If Wilbur Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mansour Harkouk made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Davis Hinkle sent off a good shot on target. Mansour Harkouk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wilbur Cortez went, in the 29th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Wilbur Cortez took a quick shot and it went in 4-1 without a chance for Mansour Harkouk to make any attempt to save it. Fouad Al-Jazairia kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. Ryan Dale recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Wilbur Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Davis Hinkles short, quick shot in the 43rdth minute got Mansour Harkouk to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-1.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Owen Stevens in the 52nd minute of play forced Sanfrecce Hiroshima's goalkeeper Mansour Harkouk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mansour Harkouk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Davis Hinkle in the 53rd minute of play. Mena FC's Owen Stevens got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Mena FC getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Del Baca hit a great ball. Mansour Harkouk came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Mena FC's Wilbur Cortez. But to his dismay, Wilbur Cortez quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. Ahmed Mazzid fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolland Bonilla having to interfere. 66 minutes into the game, Wilbur Cortez cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 6-1. Mansour Harkouk was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 73rd match minute, Sanfrecce Hiroshima was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lakhdar Ulansi to maneuver through the defense. 75 minutes into the game, Mena FC's Wilbur Cortez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mansour Harkouk made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-1. Wilbur Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mansour Harkouk having to interfere. Wilbur Cortez might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mansour Harkouk. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wilbur Cortez ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Mena FC booed when Sanfrecce Hiroshima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tayeb Kerkar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Owen Stevens fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mansour Harkouk having to interfere. Davis Hinkle took the ball and in the 86 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mansour Harkouk. Mansour Harkouk dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 8-1. Mansour Harkouk showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilbur Cortez in the 90th minute of the match. Owen Stevens received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Mansour Harkouk tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Del Baca made in the 94th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Ryan Dale. After 97 minutes of play, Mena FC's Owen Stevens made it 9-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mansour Harkouk was left in no man's land by his defense there! There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Mena FC fully deserved thier win.
