Onur Batüralp fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Abdelmalek Sifi having to interfere. A collision led to Gothenburg FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Belmadi Djamel hit a great ball. Abdelmalek Sifi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ertan Karaoğlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Gothenburg FC's Amar Djenia Lkbira got a free kick in the 28th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Topkapi SK's Ertan Karaoğlan slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Abdelmalek Sifi. That made the score 2-0 after 32 minutes of play. Topkapi SK were awarded a corner in the 65th minute after Gothenburg FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tacettin Saru took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Topkapi SK's zone, Faouzi Boutabout stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bektaş Veli Tunçkan came out of the goal and Faouzi Boutabout tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Onur Batüralp had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Abdelmalek Sifi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ertan Karaoğlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Alparslan Sarper sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 82 minutes into the match, Gothenburg FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ertan Karaoğlan came free, but Abdelmalek Sifi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Mohammad Kaci Diafat fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gothenburg FC's protests and gave Mohammad Kaci Diafat a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gothenburg FC getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Mohammad Kaci Diafat hit a great ball. In the 91st minute Onur Batüralp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelmalek Sifi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 93 played minutes Gothenburg FC got a freekick which was hit by Kamel Bouteflika. After some careless play in the Gothenburg FC defense, Ertan Karaoğlan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abdelmalek Sifi. The Gothenburg FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abdelmalek Sifi should have stopped the shot. Topkapi SK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
