Bektaş Veli Tunçkan came out of the goal in the 2nd minute to try and stop a shot by Artvin FC's Mustafa Necati Denizer. But to his dismay, Mustafa Necati Denizer quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 10th minute, Topkapi SK's Onur Batüralp dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Okan Ergüç received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Bektaş Veli Tunçkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Topkapi SK booed when Artvin FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eser Şahbaz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Saadettin Baştugay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ertan Karaoğlan in the 18th minute of the match. If Doğan Sidal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 23rd minute, Okan Ergüç managed to get in a good position for a shot. Artvin FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Okan Ergüç was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bektaş Veli Tunçkan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Okan Ergüç succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. 28 minutes into the game, Topkapi SK's Ertan Karaoğlan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Saadettin Baştugay made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. When Okan Ergüç came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Artvin FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Okan Ergüç couldn't finish the play. Bektaş Veli Tunçkan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Okan Ergüç, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 36 minutes, Orhan Seyfi Aktaç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Artvin FC and the Topkapi SK players grew even worse after the yellow card. 41 minutes in the game, Ertan Karaoğlan fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Saadettin Baştugay having to interfere. Topkapi SK's Bektaş Veli Tunçkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Okan Ergüç in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 2-2 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Okan Ergüç made a kick off. With 52 minutes on the clock, Eser Şahbaz commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 51st minute, one of Artvin FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Artvin FC. Topkapi SK's Bektaş Veli Tunçkan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mustafa Necati Denizer in the 60th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ertan Karaoğlan in the 61st minute of play forced Artvin FC's goalkeeper Saadettin Baştugay to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sertaç Taştan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 76th minute, Okaner Kartekin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Okan Ergüç recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience was convinced that Okan Ergüç's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bektaş Veli Tunçkan was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Okan Ergüç did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 3-5 to the left of a surprised Bektaş Veli Tunçkan 82 minutes into the match. If Sertaç Taştan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Abdi Saygın Acarer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the final whistle sounded Artvin FC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Topkapi SK.
