Ledesma's Marcial Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jamal Leon in the 25th minute of play. Marcial Salvidor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jamal Leon, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. Jamal Leon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 34 minutes into the match, Hillsville AF's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Hartz came free, but Benedict Timmons reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hillsville AF's Jamal Leon got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 46 played minutes Hillsville AF got a freekick which was hit by Josiah Zavala. Benedict Timmons didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Ledesma's Ermegildo Hartz shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute.

A collision led to Hillsville AF getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Guillermo Bauman hit a great ball. Hillsville AF's Benedict Timmons proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Hillsville AF from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Jamal Leon's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcial Salvidor was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. 68 minutes into the game, Ledesma's Ildefonso Mattin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hillsville AF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ermegildo Hartz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. A collision led to Ledesma getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Ildefonso Mattin hit a great ball. Ermegildo Hartz might have been able to make a better finish in the 87th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benedict Timmons. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ermegildo Hartz ran back to his position shaking his head. When Jamal Leon came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Hillsville AF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jamal Leon couldn't finish the play. If Jamal Leon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Baldomiro Rufio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 98th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedict Timmons having to interfere. The Ledesma supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ledesma would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
