Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Camillo Di Loreto got the match started through his kick off. Barcelona's Damiano Pizzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theodore Hastings in the 5th minute of play. Bruce Torres showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Di Meo in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Alex Di Meo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruce Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 11 minutes, Alfredo Basso mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcelona and the Queens Park Rangers players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Queens Park Rangers booed when Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfredo Basso didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Theodore Hastings in the 12th minute of play forced Barcelona's goalkeeper Damiano Pizzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Queens Park Rangers booed when Barcelona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Di Meo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Alex Di Meo stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Queens Park Rangers's defenders and the ball went out. Barcelona appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. In the 26th minute, Queens Park Rangers's Theodore Hastings dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. A collision led to Barcelona getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Federico Piccone hit a great ball. After 34 played minutes Queens Park Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Rosario Lunsford. Alex Di Meo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 38th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 39 played minutes Barcelona got a freekick which was hit by Federico Piccone. Queens Park Rangers's Bruce Torres played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Federico Piccone in the 42nd minute of play. Damiano Pizzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theodore Hastings in the 44th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 45 minutes, Waldo Fairchild took a quick shot and it went in 4-0 without a chance for Damiano Pizzi to make any attempt to save it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Theodore Hastings to make the kick off. If Rodger Robles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damiano Pizzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Theodore Hastings went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 5-0 was the resulting score. Camillo Di Loreto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Bruce Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Federico Piccone struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Bruce Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Barcelona. Alex Di Meo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Achille Marra made in the 74th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Queens Park Rangers's Rosario Lunsford. After 75 minutes, Alvise Raimondi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barcelona and the Queens Park Rangers players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 75th match minute, Barcelona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alvise Raimondi to maneuver through the defense. Theodore Hastings struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Damiano Pizzi didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Queens Park Rangers. When the match had gone on for 80 minutes, Theodore Hastings put it in 6-0 from a short distance just to the right of Damiano Pizzi. Theodore Hastings took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Damiano Pizzi. Damiano Pizzi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-0. A hard shot 88 in the game by Alfredo Basso from a close distance when the talented Bruce Torres managed to make a qualified save. Queens Park Rangers's players were relieved. Alex Di Meo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Damiano Pizzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theodore Hastings, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Queens Park Rangers's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
