In the 14th minute, Mena FC's Wilbur Cortez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Bektaş Veli Tunçkan. Bektaş Veli Tunçkan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Wilbur Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bektaş Veli Tunçkan having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Topkapi SK's Doğan Sidal got a free kick in the 19th minute. 21 minutes into the match, Topkapi SK's goal looked a bit too open when Wilbur Cortez came free, but Bektaş Veli Tunçkan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 22 minutes, Bektaş Veli Tunçkan successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The supporters of Mena FC booed when Topkapi SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ertan Karaoğlan didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 24 played minutes Mena FC got a freekick which was hit by Del Baca. Rolland Bonilla came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Topkapi SK's Ertan Karaoğlan. But to his dismay, Ertan Karaoğlan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Wilbur Cortez kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Bektaş Veli Tunçkan. That made the score 2-1 in the 28 minute of play. Davis Hinkle struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Bektaş Veli Tunçkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mena FC. Davis Hinkle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Bektaş Veli Tunçkan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Onur Batüralp came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Topkapi SK fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Onur Batüralp couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Topkapi SK's Onur Batüralp got a free kick in the 44th minute. Wilbur Cortez struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Bektaş Veli Tunçkan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Mena FC. Rolland Bonilla made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Onur Batüralp in the 48th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ertan Karaoğlan was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute of the match, Doğan Sidal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Rolland Bonilla saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The Topkapi SK fans' excitement grew in the 53rd match minute when Topkapi SK's Ertan Karaoğlan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Okaner Kartekin got a throw-in 57 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Abdi Saygın Acarer. 59 minutes into the match, Mena FC's goalkeeper Rolland Bonilla had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Onur Batüralp. After some careless play in the Mena FC defense, Onur Batüralp kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rolland Bonilla. The Mena FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rolland Bonilla should have stopped the shot. In the 67th minute, Alparslan Sarper hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Wilbur Cortez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bektaş Veli Tunçkan having to interfere. Rolland Bonilla was a little too slow when Onur Batüralp got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 73rd minute. The score was now 2-4. If Wilbur Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, Davis Hinkle notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Topkapi SK's Bektaş Veli Tunçkan. Bektaş Veli Tunçkan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Onur Batüralp sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Wilbur Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Mena FC booed when Topkapi SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdi Saygın Acarer didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 92 minutes of play, Topkapi SK's Onur Batüralp made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolland Bonilla was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Mena FC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
