Hillsville AF's Josiah Zavala quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Lawrence Camacho, made in the 15th minute of the game. A sloppy throw-in by Virgil Ruff in the 18th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Queens Park Rangers's Rosario Lunsford. Hillsville AF's Benedict Timmons played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Theodore Hastings in the 20th minute of play. A throw-in in the 25th minute of the game was made by Virgil Ruff with Shayne Tinsley as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Bruce Torres didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jamal Leon went, in the 27th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Bruce Torres made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jamal Leon in the 29th minute of play. Hillsville AF's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Harry Krause in the 30th minute. Anson Skinner's late challenge caught a Hillsville AF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anson Skinner helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Queens Park Rangers getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Anson Skinner hit a great ball. 34 minutes into the match, Queens Park Rangers's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Krause came free, but Bruce Torres reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 39 minutes, Zackary Pierson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hillsville AF's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zackary Pierson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Theodore Hastings received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Benedict Timmons tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Benedict Timmons showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Theodore Hastings in the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 minutes Hillsville AF's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Preston Keene who took care of the corner kick. A well done corner resulted in Waldo Fairchild drilling the ball in to score 1-1 behind Hillsville AF's goalkeeper. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jamal Leon stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Guillermo Bauman struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Bruce Torres didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hillsville AF. In the 53rd minute, Jamal Leon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hillsville AF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zackary Pierson in the 58th minute of play forced Queens Park Rangers's goalkeeper Bruce Torres to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Zackary Pierson took the ball and in the 59 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruce Torres. Bruce Torres dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. Zackary Pierson might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bruce Torres. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zackary Pierson ran back to his position shaking his head. Benedict Timmons showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Theodore Hastings, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. If Waldo Fairchild had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Hillsville AF's zone, Waldo Fairchild stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benedict Timmons came out of the goal and Waldo Fairchild tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Theodore Hastings in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedict Timmons prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 76 played minutes Queens Park Rangers got a freekick which was hit by Rosario Lunsford. In the 78th minute, Jamal Leon left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hillsville AF fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. Lawrence Camacho kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Hillsville AF's Shayne Tinsley got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Zackary Pierson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 87 minutes in the game Walker Wallace did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Theodore Hastings. Benedict Timmons didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Waldo Fairchild went, in the 89th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. In the 93rd minute of the game Virgil Ruff made a throw-in which Shayne Tinsley played forward. Jamal Leon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Bruce Torres tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute Jamal Leon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruce Torres saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
