Spectators: 10300 (Terracing: 7725, Seating: 2369, VIP seats: 206) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Naw Kean took the kick off in the first half of the match. Wales's Greid Tinsmith played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aietes Rigatos in the 2nd minute of play. After 4 minutes Wales's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Aietes Rigatos who took care of the corner kick. Gary Neville kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Thanos Saatsakis came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Wales's Naw Kean. But to his dismay, Naw Kean quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. The throw-in from Lavaine Kimball in the 15th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Cyprus's Seleykos Demetrious. 17 minutes into the match, Wales's goal looked a bit too open when Aietes Rigatos came free, but Greid Tinsmith reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Greid Tinsmith made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Epeios Solomos in the 21st minute of play. Greid Tinsmith showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Epeios Solomos in the 22nd minute of the match. Naw Kean's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thanos Saatsakis read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 32nd minute of play. 33 minutes had been played when some careless play by Cyprus's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anynnawg Hunt was slow to take the kick. During this time Wales's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Anynnawg Hunt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Thanos Saatsakis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Epeios Solomos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wmffre Kidder kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Epeios Solomos made the kick off in the second half. Thanos Saatsakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naw Kean in the 52nd minute of the match. Thanos Saatsakis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Naw Kean went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Greid Tinsmith showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epeios Solomos, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. Aietes Rigatos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Greid Tinsmith firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanos Saatsakis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Naw Kean in the 70th minute of the match. Aietes Rigatos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 76 minutes into the game, Lavaine Kimball threw the ball into play from the sideline. Cyprus's Seleykos Demetrious quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Gary Neville made in the 79th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Epigonoi Honjas immediately put the ball in play. Epeios Solomos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Epeios Solomos struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Greid Tinsmith didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cyprus. Cyprus's Thanos Saatsakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Syvwlch Lloyd in the 85th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Epeios Solomos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cyprus's supporters rose to their feet, but Epeios Solomos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Greid Tinsmith breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wales's Greid Tinsmith proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Wales from getting a goal against them. Kroios Gomatos hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. A collision led to Cyprus getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Makis Antoniadis hit a great ball. Wales's Anynnawg Hunt couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 94th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Cyprus. An unexpectedly hard shot by Syvwlch Lloyd in the 97th minute of play forced Cyprus's goalkeeper Thanos Saatsakis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 97thth minute of the game Syvwlch Lloyd who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cyprus's Thanos Saatsakis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the referee blew the final whistle, Wales could leave the field as winners, despite Cyprus having more of the ball for most of the match.
